Walltopia Client Portal (website and mobile apps) · Last updated: 4 November 2026

The Walltopia Client Portal is operated by Walltopia ("we"). It is used by Walltopia's customers, their operators and Walltopia staff to manage attractions, inspections, operator checklists and documents. This policy explains which personal data the portal processes and why.

Data we process

  • Account data: name, email address, phone number (if provided), company and role. Passwords are stored only as a secure hash.
  • Inspection data: checklist answers, remarks, names entered at sign-off, dates and times, and photos you choose to attach to a defect.
  • Documents uploaded by Walltopia for your attractions (manuals, inspection reports).
  • Notification data: if you turn on reminders, a device token for push notifications and your device's time zone.
  • Technical data: sign-in sessions (a cookie) and, for security, IP addresses of failed sign-in attempts (kept for up to 2 days).

Why we use it

To provide the portal: signing you in, showing your attractions and inspections, recording checklists, sending the reminders you turned on, and keeping the service secure. We do not use the data for advertising and do not sell it.

Camera and photos

The app asks for camera / photo access only when you choose to add a picture to a checklist answer. Pictures are uploaded only when you attach them.

Where data is stored and who processes it

Data is stored on servers in the European Union (Amazon Web Services, Frankfurt). Push notifications to the mobile apps are delivered through Google Firebase Cloud Messaging and Apple Push Notification service, which receive only the notification text and a device token.

How long we keep it

Account data is kept while the account exists. Inspection records and documents are kept as long as needed for the safety documentation of the attraction and legal obligations. Device tokens are removed when you turn reminders off or uninstall the app.

Your rights

You can view and correct your profile in the portal. You can ask for a copy of your data, its correction or deletion, or deletion of your account, by contacting us at the address below. Under the GDPR you may also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
